Overview
a. It is a simple application that lets you keep track of your progress in your regular running/walking routine.
b. You can set your personal info (age/height/weight/gender). You just go to your regular walking/jogging venue, start the application, put the phone in your pocket, and start jogging/walking. The app will keep track of your work out, for example, how many steps you walked/run, how far did you go, your speed and most importantly, the calorie you burn.
c. Moreover, you can set your walking/jogging target. The app will keep your history, and show you how many times you did achieve your target. It is pretty nice for you if you give importance on regularity and want to watch yourself improve over time.

Walking and jogging
a. The app works fine for both walking and jogging/running.

Who is it for
a. It can be a good companion for all health conscious persons: kids, students, parents, professionals, aged persons. It makes setting personal targets and monitoring how you are performing easy, thus it suits target driven persons well.

Things you can monitor
a. Distance covered
b. Time taken
c. Average speed
d. Number of steps
e. Calorie burnt
f. Performance against your personal target

Instructions
a. First, you need to provide your personal and physical information like height, weight, age and gender.
b. Before you start walking/running, open the app, tap “Start Jogging” button inside “Jogging” screen and keep the phone in your pocket. Please be careful so that the phone does not fall from your pocket while you run/walk. After you finish your session, just tap “Stop Jogging”, and you will see the results.
c. You can set your target from the “Settings” screen. Please read the following “Setting targets” section for details on setting targets. To set a target in rounds, you need to configure how long a round is. To do that, just take the app out to the place you run/walk. You need to open the “Configure Round” screen, then tap “Start Round” when you start running/walking and “End Round” when you have finished running one round. The app will calculate how long the round is in kilometers or miles.

Setting targets
a. You can set targets in three ways. First, you can mention that you want to run/walk 3 kilometers, or 3 miles.
b. However, if you are used to run/walk around a park or a field, you can mention number of rounds you want to complete as a target. In that case, you will need to let the application know (only once) how long (in kilometers or miles) one round is. You can do it pretty easily: when you are running or walking, just tell the app when a round begins and ends.
c. The third type of target is calorie burnt. For example, you can specify that you want to burn 300 calories in each session.
d. After your running/walking session ends, the app will show you how you did in achieving the target.

Basis of measurements
a. When you keep the iPhone in your pocket while you run/walk, the application can detect your steps. It can also detect whether you are walking or running, how fast you did move, and how much time you did work out.
b. Based on your physical and personal info (height, weight, age, gender), it can also measure the length of your steps and the rate of calorie burn (for a person like you) during walking/running.
c. Based upon the above information, it then calculates your speed, distance covered, calorie burnt etc.
d. However, please note that these calculations are only approximate, and can vary from the actual numbers. That said, this app will suit your purpose well for normal use.
